Water Pump - Installation

GAS ENGINE










1. Position the water pump assembly (1) and gasket onto the cylinder block.
2. Position the water inlet tube (4) and gasket onto the water pump (1).
3. Install the mounting bolts (2). Tighten the bolts to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the drive belt splash shield.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Install the accessory drive belt Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Installation.
7. Evacuate air and refill cooling system Service and Repair.
8. Check cooling system for leaks Component Tests and General Diagnostics.
