When Monitored and Set Condition:
P1716-BUS COMMUNICATION WITH ENGINE MODULE
Then Monitored: Communications tested every 7 milliseconds. Engine must be running.
The code sets info, PCI messages are received for 10 seconds. The following conditions must be met for a successful OBDII trip: Engine must run > 2 mins, Turbine speed > 600 RPM
Set Condition: If trans is either cool or warm, all fwd gears must be applied for 3.5 sees each and trans must be in park or neutral for 3.5 sees. If trans is hot, all fwd gears must be applied for 1.5 sees each and trans be in park or neutral. No MIL lamp trouble codes
