NS-SEL No Start Selection Menu

NOTE: The battery must be fully charged before performing any test in this manual.

NOTE: If the battery was low, after charging the battery, attempt to start vehicle by cranking the engine for 15 seconds 3 consecutive times. This will allow any trouble codes to set that may have been erased due to a dead battery.

NOTE: Read trouble codes, if any trouble codes are present they must be repaired before continuing with the No Start diagnostics.

Below you will find a list of recommended procedures to correct a no start problem.

Start with Test NS-1A and it will guide you through the No Start Procedures.

If you have a symptom and would like only to perform the test that correlates to that symptom, refer to the list below for the appropriate test procedure. Return to this menu for No Start selections.

NOTE: Always look for any Technical Service Bulletins that may relate to a No Start condition.
