Exhaust Pipe - Removal

6.7L DIESEL










1. Raise and support the vehicle on a hoist.
2. Saturate the bolts and nuts with heat valve lubricant. Allow 5 minutes for penetration.
3. Remove the exhaust pipe-to-DOC/DPF flange nuts (2).
4. 4X4 Vehicles - Remove transfer case skid plate.
5. 4X4 Vehicles - Remove transmission crossmember. Crossmember - Removal
6. Remove the exhaust pipe-to-turbocharger clamp (5) and discard.
7. Remove the transmission mounted exhaust pipe support (4).
8. Separate the exhaust pipe (3).
9. Remove exhaust pipe (3).
