Heater Pad - Removal

REMOVAL






NOTE: The factory installed heating elements (3) can be removed from the seat or seat back cushions by carefully peeling the element off along the adhesive lines.

NOTE: Some vehicles come equipped with vented and heated seats front seats. The front seat elements of these vehicles have a one piece vented/heated pad assembly.

NOTE: On vehicles quipped with vented seats, the vented/heated pad will have to be routed through the seat cushion prior to removing the element.

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the appropriate seat cushion or seat back cover.
3. Disconnect the inoperative heated seat cushion or seat back element electrical connectors (2).
4. Remove the heated seat element from the foam pad by peeling the element away from the cushion. Be careful not to remove excessive foam in the process.
