Diesel Exhaust Fluid Supply Line - Installation

INSTALLATION






NOTE: The Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) supply and return lines share the same wire harness connectors. Servicing requires both lines to be removed together.

1. Connect and install the supply (3) and return (4) line to the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tank.
2. Connect the supply and return lines (7) to routing clip (8).





3. Install the DEF tank (2). Tighten bolts (1) to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).





4. Connect the fill tube (1) to DEF tank (2).





5. Connect the fill tube vent line (2) to fluid limit vent valve (1).





6. Connect the supply (2) and return (3) line to the DEF pump.
7. Connect the supply and return line heater harness connector (1).
8. Connect both negative battery cables.
