Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner - Removal

3.6L ENGINE





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air intake system Air Cleaner Body - Removal.
3. Remove main drive belt Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Removal.
4. Remove tensioner assembly from engine front cover.

WARNING: Because of high spring tension, do not attempt to disassemble automatic tensioner. Unit is serviced as an assembly (except for pulley on tensioner).
