Overhead Console - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Using a suitable tool, release the side locking tabs on the center mounting clip (5) that surrounds the sunroof switch (3), if equipped.
3. Lower the clip to release, then slide the console forward to remove.

NOTE: On Low Line models the courtesy lamp lens serves as the forward retaining clip, Release the tab and lower the lens.





4. Lower the overhead console (1) far enough to access the wire harness connectors.
5. Disconnect the courtesy lamps (2 and 6), if equipped disconnect the infrared temperature sensor (4) and power sunroof switch electrical connectors.
6. Remove the overhead console assembly from the vehicle.
