ADJUSTMENTS-CONVERTIBLE GLASS
NOTE: Verify that the door is properly adjusted to the body prior to adjusting the door glass.

NOTE: Refer to On-Vehicle Gap Location.
UP/DOWN ADJUSTMENT-FRONT DOOR GLASS
1. Lower the front door and quarter glass halfway down.
2. Using masking tape or equivalent, place tape as shown (1 and 2).
3. On the front window (2), measure and mark two lines, one at 7mm and another at 11mm from the top of the window.
4. Raise the windows to the full up position and close the doors with top fully closed.
5. The top lines on the tape should not be visible whereas the bottom line should be visible.
6. If adjustment of the front door window is required, remove the front door trim panel. Front Door Trim Panel - Removal.
7. Remove the two access plug covers on the door module to gain access to the adjustment screws.
8. If the top line is visible, the window(s) must be adjusted up. If the bottom line is not visible the window must be adjusted down.
9. If the front of the glass must be adjusted, go to 10. If the rear of the glass must be adjusted, go to 11.
NOTE: One revolution of the adjustment screw equals 1mm.
10. At the front of the door, rotate the adjustment screw (2) clockwise (CW) to raise the glass. Rotate the adjustment screw counterclockwise (CCW) to lower the glass.
NOTE: One revolution of the adjustment screw equals 1mm.
11. At the rear of the door, rotate the adjustment screw (1) CW to raise the glass. Rotate the adjustment screw CCW to lower the glass.
12. After adjustments have been made, close the door and verify that the top line on the tape is not visible and the bottom line is. Repeat 10 and 11 as necessary.
13. Install the two access plug covers.
14. Install the front door trim panel. Front Door Trim Panel - Installation.
FORE/AFT ADJUSTMENT-FRONT DOOR
1. Raise the windows to the full up position and close the doors with top fully closed.
2. Inspect for failed gaps in the window and weather-strips.
3. If adjustment of the front door window is required, remove the front door trim panel. Front Door Trim Panel - Removal.
4. Remove the four access plug covers on the door module to gain access to the adjustment screws.
5. Loosen the front glass attachment fastener (1).
6. Loosen the rear glass attachment fastener (2) until the glass will move. Do not over loosen, the glass should move with some effort.
7. Adjust the glass by sliding it forward or backward, as required.
8. Tighten the glass attachment fasteners to 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.).
9. Verify adjustment. Repeat steps 5-7 if more adjustment is required.
10. Install the four access plug covers.
11. Install the front door trim panel. Front Door Trim Panel - Installation.
FRONT INBOARD/OUTBOARD GLASS ADJUSTMENT-FRONT DOOR
1. Raise the windows to the full up position and close the doors with top fully closed.
2. Inspect for gaps between the window and weather-strips.
3. Remove the door trim panel. Front Door Trim Panel - Removal.
4. Remove the four access plug covers on the door module to gain access to the adjustment screws.
5. Loosen glass attach bolt (1) approximately one full turn (360 deg) CCW. Do not over loosen, the glass should move with some effort.
NOTE: 180 degrees of rotation on the cam equals 20mm of glass movement.
6. If the glass must be adjusted inboard, rotate the jack screw counterclockwise (CCW).
7. If the glass must be adjusted outboard, rotate the jack screw clockwise (CW).
8. Once adjustments are made, tighten the glass attachment fastener to 8 N-m (71 in. lbs.).
9. Close the door and verify adjustments, if more adjustments are necessary repeat steps 5-8.
10. Install the four access plug covers on the door module.
11. Install the door trim panel. Front Door Trim Panel - Installation.
REAR INBOARD/OUTBOARD GLASS ADJUSTMENT-FRONT DOOR
1. Raise the windows to the full up position and close the doors with top fully closed.
2. Inspect for gaps between the window and weather-strips.
3. Remove the door trim panel. Front Door Trim Panel - Removal.
4. Remove the four access plug covers on the door module to gain access to the adjustment screws.
5. Loosen the rear glass attachment fastener (2) only until the glass will move. Do not over loosen, the glass should move with some effort.
NOTE: Do not loosen the cam nut. The inner allen slot is used for adjustment only.
NOTE: 180 degrees of rotation on the cam equals 20mm of glass movement.
6. If the glass must be adjusted inboard, rotate the inner cam (3) counterclockwise (CCW) for the left front door or clockwise (CW) for the right front door.
7. If the glass must be adjusted outboard, rotate the inner cam CW for the left front door or CCW for the right front door.
8. Tighten the glass attachment fasteners to 8 Nm (71 in.lbs).
9. Close the door and verify adjustments, if more adjustments are necessary repeat steps 5 and 6.
10. Install the two access plug covers on the door module.
11. Install the door trim panel. Front Door Trim Panel - Installation.
FORE/AFT AND UP/DOWN ADJUSTMENT-QUARTER GLASS
NOTE: All quarter glass adjustments are made at the same time. Verify all gaps and measurements before making any adjustments.
1. Lower the quarter glass to half down position.
2. Using masking tape or equivalent, place tape as shown (1).
3. On the quarter glass (1), measure and mark two lines, one at 7mm and another at 11mm.
4. Raise the quarter glass to the full up position. Verify the top line is not visible and the bottom line is visible.
5. Verify the vertical gap between the quarter glass and front door glass measures 10±2mm.
6. If adjustment of the quarter glass is required, remove the rear quarter trim panel. Quarter Trim Panel - Removal.
7. Loosen the glass attachment fasteners (1) until the glass will move. Do not over loosen, the glass should move with some effort.
8. Using hand pressure on the glass, adjust the quarter glass as needed.
9. Once the adjustments have been made, tighten the glass attachment fasteners.
10. Raise the quarter glass and verify the adjustments. Repeat steps 7-9 as necessary.
11. Tighten the quarter glass attachment fasteners to 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.).
12. Install the quarter trim panel. Quarter Trim Panel - Installation.
INBOARD/OUTBOARD ADJUSTMENT-QUARTER GLASS
1. Raise the quarter glass to the full up position with the top fully closed.
2. Check for gaps between the quarter glass and weatherstrips.
NOTE: Rotating the quarter glass jack screws (1, 2 and 3) clockwise will move points one, two and three outboard respectively, counterclockwise will move the points inboard.
3. Remove the quarter trim panel. Quarter Trim Panel - Removal.
4. Loosen the jack screw set nuts.
5. Rotate jackscrews to achieve the proper gap between the quarter glass, door glass, and top.
6. Cycle quarter glass between full up and full down positions. Verify operation and adjust as necessary.
7. Tighten the jack screw set nuts. Tighten to 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.).
8. Install the quarter trim panel. Quarter Trim Panel - Installation.
