INSTALLATION





1. Place lower (6) and upper (3) shrouds around steering column (1).
2. Snap shrouds together at locking tab locations on both sides.
3. Install center mounting screw securing lower shroud to column. Tighten screw to 2 Nm (18 in. lbs.).
4. Install two outer mounting screws (7) securing lower shroud to upper shroud. Tighten screws to 2 Nm (18 in. lbs.).
5. Inspect shroud mating surfaces for excessive gaps and adjust as necessary.
