Front Fascia - Removal

REMOVAL

1. Release hood latch and open hood.




2. Remove grille fasteners.




3. Remove radiator enclosure panel push pins (2) and fasteners (1).
4. Remove radiator closure panel from vehicle.




5. Remove the headlamp fasteners (1).
6. Disconnect left headlamp connectors.
7. Disconnect right headlamp connectors.
8. Remove fascia to splash shield fasteners and push pins located behind wheel.
9. Hoist vehicle and support with safety stands, as necessary.




10. Remove the five push pins (3) attaching bottom of fascia (6).

NOTE: The whole front splash shield does not need to be removed.

11. Remove four fender to fascia fasteners (4) (Two each side).
12. Disconnect fog lamp wire connectors, if necessary.
13. Lower vehicle.
14. Remove fascia from vehicle and take to bench.
15. Remove grille from fascia. Grille - Removal

NOTE: 2006 Pacifica Shown. 2007 similar.





16. Place fascia on a clean surface. Paying close attention to the seam clips (3), connecting the upper (1) and lower fascia (2).




17. Using trim stick C-4755 (2), release locking tabs (3) and separate the upper and lower fascia if necessary.
