Engine Oil Pan - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect negative cable from battery and remove engine oil level indicator tube (3).
2. Raise vehicle on hoist and drain engine oil.




3. Remove the right engine mount heat shield (3).
4. Disconnect the in block heater (if equipped).




5. Remove the right engine mount structural bracket (2) at the engine and transaxle.
6. Remove the flex plate inspection cover (1).




7. Remove oil pan fasteners (5).
8. Remove the oil pan and gasket (4).
