Engine Oil Pan - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Clean sealing surfaces and apply a 1/8 inch bead of Mopar(R) Engine RTV GEN II at the parting line (1) of the chain case cover and the rear seal retainer.




2. Position a new pan gasket (6) on oil pan (4).
3. Install oil pan and tighten fasteners to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.).




4. Install the flex plate cover (1).
5. Install the right engine mount bracket (2).
6. Connect the in block heater (if equipped).




7. Install the right engine mount heat shield.




8. Lower vehicle and install oil level indicator (1).
9. Connect negative cable to battery.
10. Fill crankcase with oil to proper level.
