Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) Verification Test







TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR VERIFICATION TEST

Ensure the air pressure is properly set in ALL tires.
Disconnect all jumper wires and reconnect all previously disconnected components and connectors.
With the scan tool connected to the vehicle and an available assistant, monitor the Tire Pressure Transmitters on each tire.

- Drive the vehicle at 40 km/h (25 MPH) for at least 2 minutes.
- Verify the TPM module is receiving all Tire Pressure Sensor transmissions. If the Tire Sensors/Transmitters are operating properly, the following status will be displayed:

- LF TIRE MOVING: YES
- RF TIRE MOVING: YES
- RR TIRE MOVING: YES
- LR TIRE MOVING: YES
- ALL TIRES MOVING: YES
- With the scan tool, confirm that no DTCs are present and that all components are functioning properly.
- If a DTC is present, select the corresponding procedure.

Are any DTCs present?

YES

- Repair is not complete, refer to appropriate procedure.

NO

- Repair is complete.
