THEORY OF OPERATION:
The DRB indicates "NO RESPONSE" if the TCM ground circuit is open, the CCD Bus (+) or (-) circuits from the TCM to the Data Link Connector (DLC) are open, or, the TCM fused B(+) circuit is below 10.0 volts.

WHEN MONITORED/SET CONDITIONS:
No Diagnostic Trouble Code is set for this problem. The DRB indicates "NO RESPONSE" while performing Test 1 .

TRANSMISSION EFFECTS:
No effect. This test is to establish proper communication between the TCM and DRB.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:
- TCM ground circuit open
- TCM fused B(+) circuit open/low voltage
- CCD Bus (+) or (-) circuits from TCM to Data Link Connector open
