Test 3A

Perform TEST 1A Before Proceeding Test 1A - Checking For Diagnostic Trouble Codes

1. With the DRB, select "Erase DTC's."
2. Turn the ignition off, then turn the ignition on.
3. With the DRB, select "Actuators" and "LF Hydraulic". Actuate the "Left Front Hydraulic" selection.





4. With the DRB, select "Read DTC's." Refer to the chart above and perform the appropriate test.

NOTE: If multiple codes are present, repair them in the order shown.





5. If no Trouble Codes return, refer to the schematic diagram and inspect the wiring harness and connectors of the modulator circuits. Also refer to Trouble Codes Descriptions.
6. If a problem is found, repair as necessary and perform Test VER-1 A. If no trouble codes return, perform Test VER-2A.


INACTIVE TROUBLE CODE CONDITION
You have just attempted to simulate the condition that initially set the trouble code message. The following additional checks may assist you in identifying a possible intermittent problem:

- Visually inspect related wire harness connectors. Look for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded terminals.
- Visually inspect the related harnesses. Look for chafed, pierced, or partially broken wire.
- Refer to any technical service bulletins that may apply.
