DR-19D EGR Valve Vacuum Chamber For Leaks

This test must be performed with engine warm.

1. With vacuum line disconnected from EGR valve, auxiliary vacuum supply connected to EGR valve and engine running at idle, apply ten inches of vacuum to EGR valve and then release it.
2. If vacuum holds without bleeding for at least ten seconds, proceed to Test 20. DR-20 Checking Secondary Ignition System
3. If vacuum does not hold for ten seconds, replace EGR/back pressure valve assembly.
