Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (Chassis)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement Service and Repair.

2. Remove the charge air cooler inlet pipe. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement.

3. Remove the intake manifold tube. Refer to Intake Manifold Tube Replacement Intake Manifold Tube Replacement.





4. Disconnect the fuel lines. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Service and Repair

5. Remove the fuel line bracket fastener.





6. Remove the fasteners (1).

7. Compress the spring clamps (2) and disconnect the hoses.

8. Remove the fuel feed pipe (3).

Installation Procedure





Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

1. Install the fuel feed pipe (3).

2. Compress the spring clamps (2) and connect the hoses.

3. Install the fasteners (1) and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).





4. Install the fuel line bracket fastener and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

5. Connect the fuel feed and return pipes.

6. Install the intake manifold tube. Refer to Intake Manifold Tube Replacement Intake Manifold Tube Replacement.

7. Install the charge air cooler inlet pipe. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement Charge Air Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement.

8. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming Fuel System Priming.

9. Start the engine.

If the engine does not start, repeat the above step.

10. Inspect the fuel system for fuel leaks.

11. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement Service and Repair.
