Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the passenger side assist handle. Refer to Front Assist Handle Replacement Front Assist Handle Replacement.





2. Grasp and gently pull the windshield garnish molding in order to release the clips.

3. Release lower retainer using flat blade tool.

4. Remove the windshield garnish molding from the vehicle.

5. Inspect the windshield garnish molding for broken or missing retaining clips.

The tether clip at the upper portion of the garnish molding MUST be replaced every time the windshield side garnish molding is removed.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the windshield garnish molding to the vehicle.

2. Align the clips and press on the windshield garnish molding in order to engage the clips.

3. Install the passenger side assist handle. Refer to Front Assist Handle Replacement Front Assist Handle Replacement.
