Heater Coolant Heater Glow Plug Replacement

J-38125 Terminal Repair Kit

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the heater coolant heater. Refer to Heater Coolant Heater Replacement Heater Coolant Heater Replacement.

2. Remove the heater coolant heater control unit. Refer to Heater Coolant Heater Control Replacement Service and Repair.





Note:
Note the routing of the wiring to ensure proper installation.

3. Using J-38125-560 remove the glow plug wiring from the electrical connector.

4. Remove the glow plug from the heater coolant heater.

Installation Procedure





Caution:
Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution Component Fastener Tightening Caution.

1. Install the glow plug to the heater coolant heater and tighten to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).

2. Install the glow wiring to the electrical connector.

3. Install the heater coolant heater control unit. Refer to Heater Coolant Heater Control Replacement Service and Repair.

4. Install the heater coolant heater. Refer to Heater Coolant Heater Replacement Heater Coolant Heater Replacement.

5. Lower the vehicle.
