Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Remove the left tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation Service and Repair.

3. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (LEA) Catalytic Converter Replacement.

4. Using a suitable jack stand, support the rear of the powertrain.





5. Remove the rear transmission mount to rear transmission mount bracket bolt (1).





6. Remove the rear transmission mount bracket to transmission bolts (1).

7. Remove the rear transmission mount bracket (2).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the transmission mount bracket (2).

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the rear transmission bracket to transmission bolts (1) and tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).





3. Install the rear transmission mount to rear transmission mount bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb ft).

4. Remove the jack stand.

5. Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (LEA) Catalytic Converter Replacement.

6. Install the left tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation Service and Repair.

7. Lower the vehicle.
