Engine Support Fixture (South America)

Special Tools

* L-0906004 - Universal engine support fixture.

* X-0206951 - Universal engine support fixture.

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools Special Tools.

Installation

1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.

2. Remove the air cleaner duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.




3. Remove the air conditioning line bracket (1) from the cross member.




4. Connect a suitable chain to the X-0206951 engine lift bracket as shown above.




5. Install engine support fixture (1) X-0206951.




6. Connect the other side of the chain to the L-0906004 engine lift bracket and tighten the handle until the chain is tight.

7. Ensure the powertrain is support by engine support fixture.
