Tail Pipe Replacement (6.6L - (LMM))

Removal Procedure




1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the spare tire, if necessary.
3. Remove the exhaust particulate filter to tail pipe nuts.
4. With the aid of an assistant, separate the tail pipe hangers from the insulators and remove the exhaust tail pipe.

Installation Procedure




1. With the aid of an assistant, install the exhaust tail pipe and install the tail pipe hangers to the insulators.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the exhaust particulate filter to tail pipe nuts and tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb ft).
3. Install the spare tire, if necessary.
4. lower the vehicle.
