Headliner Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the console assembly , if equipped. Refer to Overhead Console Replacement - Front (Luxury Y91) (Overhead Console Replacement - Front (Luxury Y91)) .
3. Remove the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement (Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement) .
4. Remove the front door opening upper frame garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding - Front Door Opening Upper Frame (Garnish Molding - Front Door Opening Upper Frame) .
5. Remove the front door upper pillar garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper Pillar (Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper Pillar) .
6. Remove the dome lamp. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement (All except Luxury) Dome Lamp Replacement (Luxury Y91) Dome Lamp Replacement (PRP, Fluorescent).
7. Remove the rear heater controls. Refer to HVAC Control Assembly Replacement.
8. Remove the front headliner from the retaining clips at the rear edge of the headliner.
9. Remove the front headliner from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the front headliner to the vehicle.
2. Install the front headliner to the retaining clips at the rear edge of the headliner.
3. Install the rear heater controls. Refer to HVAC Control Assembly Replacement.
4. Install the dome lamp. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement (All except Luxury) Dome Lamp Replacement (Luxury Y91) Dome Lamp Replacement (PRP, Fluorescent).
5. Install the front door upper pillar garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper Pillar (Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper Pillar) .
6. Install the front door opening upper frame garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding - Front Door Opening Upper Frame (Garnish Molding - Front Door Opening Upper Frame) .
7. Install the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement (Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement) .
8. If you remove the overhead console assembly, install the assembly. Refer to Overhead Console Replacement - Front (Luxury Y91) (Overhead Console Replacement - Front (Luxury Y91)) .
9. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement (Service and Repair) .
