Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel passenger knee bolster. Refer to Passenger Knee Bolster Replacement (Knee Bolster Replacement - Passenger) .




2. Remove the nuts that retain the instrument panel knee bolster inner and outer brackets to the instrument panel carrier.
3. Remove the instrument panel knee bolster inner and outer brackets from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the instrument panel knee bolster inner and outer brackets to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the nuts that retain the instrument panel knee bolster inner and outer brackets to the instrument panel carrier.

Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the instrument panel passenger knee bolster. Refer to Passenger Knee Bolster Replacement (Knee Bolster Replacement - Passenger) .
