Spare Wheel and Carrier Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the spare tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Spare Tire Replacement.
2. Remove the 4 bolts (2) which secure the spare wheel carrier (1).
3. Remove the spare wheel carrier (1) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the spare wheel carrier (1) to the vehicle. Secure the carrier with the 4 mounting bolts (2).

Tighten the spare wheel carrier mounting bolts to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

2. Install the spare tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Spare Tire Replacement.
