Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement (4 Door)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front seat belt guide loop cover (1).
2. Remove the front seat belt guide loop anchor bolt (2).




3. Loosen the front (2) and rear (4) side door opening frame garnish moldings away from the upper center pillar trim (1).
4. Remove the upper center pillar trim (1) from the vehicle by gently disengaging the plastic retainers.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the upper center pillar trim (1) to the vehicle. Secure the trim by pressing into place to ensure that the plastic retainers are fully engaged.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the front seat belt guide loop anchor bolt (2).

Tighten the front seat belt guide loop anchor bolt to 35 N.m (25 lb ft).

3. Install the front seat belt guide loop cover (1).




4. Install the front (2) and rear (4) side door opening frame garnish moldings to the pinch weld flange (3) on both sides of the upper center pillar trim (1).
