Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement (2 Door)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the rear seat head restraints and guides. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement (Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement) .
2. Remove the rear seat back cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement (2 Door) (Rear Seat Back Replacement (2 Door)) .
3. Unscrew the rear seat back cushion latch release knob (2) from each rear seat back hinge rod.




4. Release the J-retainer (2) along the bottom of the seat back cushion (1).




5. Remove the following components from each side of the seat back cushion (1):

1. The plastic retainer from the lower section
2. The screw and rear seat back cushion bumper
3. The 2 screws (3)
4. The rear seat recliner inside lower finish cover (2)





6. Release the J-retainer (1) which secures each side of the rear seat back cushion cover.




7. Remove the seat back cushion cover (1) from the rear seat back cushion pad and frame (3).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear seat back cushion cover (1) to the rear seat back cushion pad and frame (3). Ensure that the cover is fully secured to the pad at the velcro strips (2).




2. Secure the seat back cushion cover to the seat back cushion frame with the J-retainer (1) at each side.




3. Install the rear seat recliner inside lower finish cover (2) to each side of the seat back cushion (1). Secure the cover with the 2 screws (3).
4. Install the following components to each side of the seat back cushion (1):

1. The screw and rear seat back cushion bumper
2. The plastic retainer from the lower section





5. Secure the seat back cushion (1) along the bottom with the J-retainer (2).




6. Install the rear seat back cushion latch release knob (2) to each rear seat back hinge rod.
7. Install the rear seat back cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement (2 Door) (Rear Seat Back Replacement (2 Door)) .
8. Install the rear seat head restraints and guides. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement (Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement) .
