Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement (2 Door)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the folding top side rail garnish molding. Refer to Folding Top Side Rail Replacement (Folding Top Side Rail Replacement) in Roof.
2. Remove the front seat belt guide loop cover (1).
3. Remove the front seat belt guide loop anchor bolt (2).
4. Remove the rear assist handle (4). Refer to Assist Handle Replacement (2 - Door) (Assist Handle Replacement (2 - Door))Assist Handle Replacement (Rear - 2 Door) (Assist Handle Replacement (Rear - 2 Door))Assist Handle Replacement (Rear - 4 Door) (Assist Handle Replacement (Rear - 4 Door)) .
5. Remove the upper center pillar trim from the vehicle by gently disengaging the plastic retainers.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the upper center pillar trim to the vehicle. Secure the trim by pressing into place to ensure that the plastic retainers are fully engaged.
2. Install the rear assist handle (4). Refer to Assist Handle Replacement (2 - Door) (Assist Handle Replacement (2 - Door))Assist Handle Replacement (Rear - 2 Door) (Assist Handle Replacement (Rear - 2 Door))Assist Handle Replacement (Rear - 4 Door) (Assist Handle Replacement (Rear - 4 Door)) .

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the front seat belt guide loop anchor bolt (2).

Tighten the front seat belt guide loop anchor bolt to 35 N.m (25 lb ft).

4. Install the front seat belt guide loop cover (1).
5. Install the folding top side rail garnish molding. Refer to Folding Top Side Rail Replacement (Folding Top Side Rail Replacement) in Roof.
