Transmission Rear Mount Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.
2. Remove the front suspension skid plate, if equipped. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Skid Plate Replacement .
3. Using a suitable jack stand, support the rear of the powertrain.
4. Remove and DISCARD the transmission mount to bracket through fastener (1).
5. Remove the transmission rear mount fastener (2).
6. Push and hold the powertrain assembly forward and then remove the transmission rear mount (3).
Installation Procedure
1. Push and hold the powertrain assembly forward and then install the transmission mount (3).
Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.
2. Install the transmission rear mount fastener (2) and tighten to 100 Nm (74 lb ft).
3. Install the NEW transmission mount to bracket through fastener (1) and tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb ft) plus 45-60 degrees.
4. Remove the jack stand.
5. Install the front suspension skid plate, if equipped. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Skid Plate Replacement .
6. Lower the vehicle.
