Radio Replacement

Removal Procedure





Caution:
Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the center molding. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement (Four Door) Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement (Four Door)Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement (Five Door/Wagon) Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement (Five Door/Wagon) in Instrument Panel, gauges and Console.

3. Remove the screws and the audio system.

4. Disconnect the audio system electrical connectors.

Installation Procedure





1. Connect the audio system electrical connectors.

Notice:
Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the audio system with the screws.

Tighten the screws to 4 Nm (35 lb in).

3. Install the center molding. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement (Four Door) Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement (Four Door)Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement (Five Door/Wagon) Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement (Five Door/Wagon) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

4. Connect the negative battery cable.

5. Enter the audio security system 4-digit code. Refer to Radio/Audio System Description and Operation Description and Operation.
