Fuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.

2. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief Service and Repair.




3. Disconnect the fuel feed front pipe (1) from the fuel rail. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.

4. Unclip the 3 feed pipes from the pipe retainers.

5. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

6. Lower the rear of the drivetrain and front suspension frame 51 mm (2 in). Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement Service and Repair.

7. Unclip the fuel feed pipe from the line retainer on the cowl panel.




8. Disconnect the fuel feed front pipe (1) from the fuel feed hose. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.

9. Remove the fuel feed front pipe (1) from the retainers (2).

10. Remove the fuel feed front pipe (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the fuel feed front pipe (1) to the vehicle.

2. Install the fuel feed front pipe (1) to the retainers (2).

3. Connect the fuel feed front pipe (1) to the fuel feed hose. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.

4. Install the drivetrain and front suspension frame. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement Service and Repair.

5. Lower the vehicle.




6. Connect the fuel feed front pipe (1) to the fuel rail. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.

7. Clip the feed pipe into the 3 retainers.

8. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.
