Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).





Note: Hold the shaft link studs with the hex tool to prevent damage to the link seal.

2. Remove the stabilizer shaft link upper retaining nut.
3. Remove the stabilizer shaft link lower retaining nut.
4. Remove the stabilizer shaft link from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the stabilizer shaft link to the vehicle.

Note: Do not tighten the nuts at this time.

Note: Hold the shaft link studs with the hex tool to prevent damage to the link seal.

2. Install the stabilizer shaft link lower retaining nut.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the stabilizer shaft link upper retaining nut and tighten to 115 Nm (95 lb ft).
4. Lower the vehicle.
