Differential Oil Cooler Inlet Hose, Cooler Outlet Hose, and Pump Inlet Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service Intervals) .
2. Remove the differential cooler assembly. Refer to Differential Oil Cooler Replacement (Differential Oil Cooler Replacement) .




3. Loosen the hoses clamps (1).
4. Remove the outlet hose (2) from the pump (6).
5. Remove the inlet hose (3) from the cooler (5).
6. Remove the hose (4) from the cooler (5) to the pump (6).



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the hose (4) and clamp (1) from the cooler (5) to the pump (6).

Tighten the clamp to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

2. Install the inlet hose (3) and clamp (1) to the cooler (5).

Tighten the clamp to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

3. Install the outlet hose (2) and clamp (1) to the pump (6).

Tighten the clamp to 3 N.m (27 lb in).





4. Install the differential cooler assembly. Refer to Differential Oil Cooler Replacement (Differential Oil Cooler Replacement) .
5. Fill the differential. Refer to Axle Lubricant Change (W/O Differential Cooler) (Rear Drive Axle) .
