Powertrain Control Module (PCM):

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
This diagnostic test checks for the loss of or invalid Antilock Brake/Traction Control System serial data to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). When such a condition exists for 5 seconds Code P137 will set.

TEST CONDITIONS
1. Code P012 not set.
2. Engine speed 500 rpm or greater for 20 seconds.

FAILURE CONDITIONS
Invalid or no serial data from the Antilock Brake/Traction Control System being received by the PCM for 5 seconds.

ACTION TAKEN
PCM sets all serial data from the Antilock/Brake Traction Control System to zero.

DIAGNOSIS
Follow the diagnostic procedures for Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Code IO32.
