DTC 67

DTC 67 Brake Light Switch Fault:

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The electronic brake control module receives Brake Light Switch status from the PCM via serial data. If fault Code 67 sets, it may be indicative of a loss of switch input to the PCM, check for PCM fault Code PO9O (STOP/BITSI/CRUISE BRAKE SWITCH FAULT CODE) or P1O6 (BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH FAULT CODE)

TEST CONDITION(S)
1. Tested continuously.

FAILURE CONDITION(S)
1. EBTCM receives failure status of Brake Light Switch from PCM.

ACTION TAKEN
1. Code set.
2. TCS disabled.
3. TRACTION DISABLED message ON.
