Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement Engine Sight Shield Replacement.

2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (2.4L LEA) Cooling System Draining and FillingCooling System Draining and Filling (2.0L LHU) Cooling System Draining and Filling.




3. Remove the turbocharger coolant feed pipe bolt (1).

4. Remove and DISCARD the turbocharger coolant feed pipe seal ring (2).

5. Unclip the turbocharger coolant feed pipe (3) from the clips (4).




6. Remove the turbocharger coolant feed pipe bracket bolt (1) to loosen the bracket (2).

7. Remove the turbocharger coolant feed pipe bolt (5).

8. Remove and DISCARD the turbocharger coolant feed pipe seal ring (4).

9. Remove the turbocharger coolant feed pipe (3) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the turbocharger coolant feed pipe (3) to the vehicle.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the turbocharger coolant feed pipe bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Install a NEW turbocharger coolant feed pipe seal ring (4).

4. Install the turbocharger coolant feed pipe bolt (5) and tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb ft).




5. Install the turbocharger coolant feed pipe (3) to the clips (4).

6. Install a NEW turbocharger coolant feed pipe seal ring (2).

7. Install the turbocharger coolant feed pipe bolt (1) and tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb ft).

8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (2.4L LEA) Cooling System Draining and FillingCooling System Draining and Filling (2.0L LHU) Cooling System Draining and Filling.

9. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement Engine Sight Shield Replacement.
