Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (2.0L LHU)
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (2.4L LEA) Cooling System Draining and FillingCooling System Draining and Filling (2.0L LHU) Cooling System Draining and Filling.
3. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement Engine Sight Shield Replacement.
Note: To avoid that engine coolant gets into the generator, use a suitable tool to cover the generator.
4. Remove the engine coolant air bleed hose (1) from the radiator inlet hose (3).
5. Loosen the radiator inlet hose clamp (2).
6. Remove the radiator inlet hose (3) from the radiator.
7. Loosen the radiator inlet hose clamp (4).
8. Remove the radiator inlet hose (3) from the engine.
9. Remove the radiator inlet hose (3) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the radiator inlet hose (3) to the vehicle.
2. Install the engine coolant air bleed hose (1) to the radiator inlet hose (3).
3. Install the radiator inlet hose (3) to the radiator.
4. Install the radiator inlet hose clamp (2).
5. Install the radiator inlet hose (3) to the engine.
6. Install the radiator inlet hose clamp (4).
7. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement Engine Sight Shield Replacement.
8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (2.4L LEA) Cooling System Draining and FillingCooling System Draining and Filling (2.0L LHU) Cooling System Draining and Filling.
9. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
