51 37 000 - Removing and installing complete rear left or right power window unit

Power window unit has no anti-trapping mechanism.





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear top side trim panel 51 43 120 Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear Left or Right Side Trim Panel
- Remove outer window cavity cover strip 51 37 240 Removing and Installing/Replacing Outer Window Cavity Cover Strip For Rear Side
- Remove inner window cavity cover strip 51 37 261 Removing and Installing/Replacing Window Cavity Cover Strip For Door Window, Rear Left or Right
- Remove rear wheel arch cover
- Remove seat belt cover 51 46 ... Removing and Installing/Replacing Cover For Seat Belt On Left Or Right





Remove foam material (1).





Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 51 37 4AZ [1][2]Quarter Window Motor.

Note:
Replace self-locking screws.





Release bolt (1).
Tightening torque 51 37 5AZ [1][2]Quarter Window Motor.





Raise power window unit slightly.
Unclip cable connection (1).





Move power window unit (1) with electric switch in door trim panel to roughly half height and feed out power window in upward direction.

Installation Note:
Reinstall power window unit (1) in half-opened position in body and move power window unit (1) with electric switch in door trim panel downwards again.





Disconnect electric motor (1) and cable clip (2).

Installation Note:
Check function.

Adjust rear side window Adjustments.
