Left/Right Rear Seat Backrest (Through-Loading)

52 26 015 Removing And Installing/Replacing Left/Right Rear Seat Backrest (Through-Loading)







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove armrest side section
- If necessary, partially remove rear seat (only with seat heating optional extra)







For seat heating optional extra only:
Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.







Left backrest:
- Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 52 26 04AZ.

- With automatic centre belt optional extra only:
Lay belt (2) around centre armrest

- Fold backrest forwards slightly (3)
- Pull backrest forwards and outwards out of centre mount (4)







Right backrest:
- Release screw (1) with short Torx socket T55 (refer to BMW Workshop Equipment Catalogue)
Tightening torque 52 26 04AZ.

- Fold backrest forwards slightly (2)
- Pull backrest forwards and outwards out of centre mount (3)
