Removing and Installing Radiator

17 11 000 - Removing and installing radiator (N53, N54)





Warning!
Danger of scalding!
Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.





Important!
Wear protective goggles and gloves.





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Follow instructions for working 17 00 ... Instructions For Working on Cooling System on cooling system
- Remove fan cowl
- Drain coolant
- Unlock coolant hoses and detach





N54 only:
Release clamp, detach charge-air duct (1) and remove.
Tightening torque 13 71 6AZ 13 71 or 72 Air Intake Silencer.





Automatic only:
Release bolt and detach hose (1).





Release screws.
Tightening torque 17 11 2AZ 17 11 Radiator, Expansion Tank, Lines (N52, N52K, N51, N54, N45, N46).
Carefully feed out radiator (1) towards top and remove.
