67 61 007 - Removing and installing/replacing drive with gear (rear) for actuating slide/tilt sunroof (rear)





Important!

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove both panels for rear roof pillar Rear Roof Pillar (D-Pillar), Left Or Right
- Remove both rear grab handles 51 16 480 Removing and Installing or Replacing Front Grab Handle





Version with dividing net mounts (1):
Fold back cover (2) for dividing net mount (1).
Release screw (3) and remove dividing net mount (1).

Installation Note:
Observe position indications on reverse side of dividing net mount (1).





Important!
Do not kink roofliner under any circumstances!

Pull off muckets of rear lid and rear doors in roof area.

Unclip roofliner (1) in middle area downwards and lower.

Installation Note:
Holder (2) for roofliner (1) must be replaced.





Disconnect plug connection (1) and if necessary expose cable.
Release screws (2) and remove drive (3).
Tightening torque 51 13 1AZ 54 13 Electric Sun Roof Components.





Installation Note:
Insert gear wheel (1) of drive with gear for actuating slide/tilt sunroof (2) exactly in gear teeth (3).





Installation Note:
- Initialize slide/tilt sunroof 54 0 ... Notes on Panorama Glass Roof (Initialization/Normalization/Learning of Characteristic Curve).





Replacement:
Carry out vehicle programming/coding Programming and Relearning.

Important!
There is a risk of permanent battery discharge if programming/coding is not carried out!
