Coolant Reservoir: Service and Repair

17 11 100 - Removing and installing/replacing coolant expansion tank (N46, N45, N52, N52K, N51, N53)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Drain coolant Service and Repair from radiator





Unlock and disconnect plug on coolant level switch (1).
Release and disconnect coolant hoses (2).
Release bolts.
Tightening torque 17 11 3AZ 17 11 Radiator, Expansion Tank, Lines (N52, N52K, N51, N54, N45, N46).
Remove coolant expansion tank (3).

Installation:
Insert locating pin in rubber grommet.





Check cooling system for leaks 17 00 039 Venting Cooling System and Checking For Water Leaks.
