16 12 010 Removing And Installing/replacing Carbon Canister (US Version With DMTL)






Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove rear right wheel arch panel







Disconnect plug connection (1).

NOTE: The plug connection (1) is not available with vehicles for the national-market version China.

The connection on the diagnostic tank leak module (DMTL) remains open.

Unlock and detach snap fastener (2).

Unclip cable holders (3) from carbon canister.







Release nuts (1) and remove carbon canister (2) towards bottom.

Installation note:
Tightening torque 16 13 1AZ.







The following components must be modified when the carbon canister is replaced:

- Dust filter (1)
- Tank leakage diagnosis module (2)
- Hose (3) between carbon canister and tank leakage diagnosis module
