51 71 482 - Removing and installing/replacing left or right tension strut (on rear axle)





Special tools required:
- 00 9 120 00 9 120 Torque Angle Measuring Dial





Important!
Observe safety instructions 00 .. ... Lifting Vehicle With A Lifting Platform for raising the vehicle.

Do not drive vehicle without tension strut installed; failure to comply with this instruction will result in damage to the body!





Release screws (1) and nuts (2).

Remove tension strut (3).

Installation Note:
Replace screws (1).

Tighten down screws (1) and then retighten to angle of rotation using special tool 00 9 120 00 9 120 Torque Angle Measuring Dial.
