13 41 550 Replacing Idle Actuator

13 41 550 - Replacing idle actuator (S65)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Read out fault memory of DME control unit
- Check stored fault messages
- Switch off ignition
- Remove intake air manifold Service and Repair
- Partially disconnect engine wiring harness 12 51 001 Replacing Wiring Harness Section for Engine, raise cable duct.
- Remove tank venting valve Service and Repair





Release air intake hose (1).
Release idle air hose (2).
Replace clamps.





Unlock plug connection and disconnect.
Carefully lever idle actuator out of holder.





Assemble engine.

Note:
Now clear the fault memory.
