Back Window Glass: Adjustments

51 31 201 - Adjusting rear window





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear spoiler 51 71 412 Removing and Installing Rear Spoiler
Prerequisite:
- Rear lid Adjustments must be correctly adjusted





Slacken screw connections (2 and 4) on left/right.
1 - Rear window
3 - Bracket
5 - Rear window hinge
Rear window height is adjusted by inserting shims.





Adjust rear window (1) in accordance with gap dimensions and secure in place with screw connections (2).
If necessary, adjust rear window wiper motor Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear Window Wiper Motor (Touring).
If necessary, adjust rear window lock Adjusting Rear Window Lock.
