Removing and installing Convertible Top Compartment Lid

41 63 060 - Removing and installing convertible top compartment lid





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Tape off contact surface between convertible top compartment lid and rear lid
- Remove hydraulic cylinder from convertible top compartment lid





Warning!
Support convertible top compartment lid with suitable apparatus Procedures in fully opened position. Risk of injury.





Loosen screw (1).
Tightening torque 51 17 4AZ 51 17 Flaps.
Unscrew bolt (2).
Tightening torque 51 17 4AZ 51 17 Flaps.
Remove convertible top compartment lid with assistance of a second person upwards from hinge.
Set convertible top compartment lid down on a clean surface.

Installation:
Adjust compartment lid.
