51 16 ... - Removing and installing/replacing centre armrest carrier





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove storage compartment 51 16 200 Removing and Installing Storage Compartment





Detach hinge cover (1) in direction of arrow.





Disconnect connector (1).
Disconnect Bowden cable (2).
Release screws (3) and remove lock mechanism (4).





Release screws (1).





Depress actuator (1) for centre armrest and remove centre armrest carrier in upwards direction.
Replacement:
- Remove cover for centre armrest 51 16 196 - Removing and installing/replacing (both) covers for centre armrest
- Remove lock cylinder for storage box Service and Repair
- Remove servodrive Removing and Installing/Replacing Servodrive in Storage Compartment
- If necessary, remove eject box Removing and Installing/Replacing Eject Box
