Removing and Installing Sports Steering Wheel

32 33 010 - Removing and installing sports steering wheel





Note:
Wheel/chassis alignment is not necessary after the steering wheel has been removed and installed or replaced.





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove airbag unit Removing and Installing/Replacing Airbag Unit (Sports Steering Wheel)





Move wheels/steering wheel into straight-ahead position.
Disconnect plug connections (2).
Release screw (1) and remove sport steering wheel.

Installation:
Tightening torque 32 33 1AZ [1][2]Specifications.





Important!
Risk of damage!
Retaining pins (2) must also appear in the openings in the sports steering wheel.

Installation:
Align sport steering wheel using markings (1) to steering column and attach.
